The new AERUS Z achieves both lightness and stability. With each generation, the AERUS series prides itself on pushing the boundaries of lightness. This new 5th generation model is the lightest ever badminton shoe from Yonex, weighing in at just 240 grams per shoe*. These shoes are slimmed down by adopting a new sole made of Feather Light X, a material that is 12% lighter in weight, while generating more repulsion than the previous AERUS models. A key ingredient to stability is reliable grip. RADIAL BLADE SOLE is implemented to provide ultimate grip.

Power Cushion

Shock Absorption

The YONEX Power Cushion absorbs shock then reverses the impact energy for smooth transfer into the next movement.Compared with urethane, the YONEX Power Cushion construction provides 3 times more shock absorbing power. When dropped from 7m above a Power Cushion sheet, an egg will bounce back 4m without damage.

Toe Assist Shape

A toe-centric design that cuts down on pressure in the big toe, as well as offering improved support at the mid-foot and heel for a stable fit. Power loss is reduced, allowing for swift footwork.

Double Russel Mesh

Double Raschel Mesh is an ultra fine mesh that is extremely lightweight and durable. It provides eight times more air-exchange for releasing moisture than ordinary mesh fabric.

Durable Skin Light

Great Fit Leaves you Light on your Feet

Combining rubber-like flexibility with the stiffness of hard plastic, the polyurethane-based Durable Skin Light lets you play light on your feet while maintaining a robust fit.

Feather Light X

Feather Light X is Yonex’s lightest midsole material and is one of the key technologies in making the AERUS Z lighter while providing smooth, fluid footwork.

Seamless Upper

The upper is built with a single primary piece which is a combination of the Durable Skin Light, a strong and lightweight material, and the Double Raschel Mesh, a highly breathable fabric. The two materials are fused together using a vacuum-pressing method which enables the upper to be built with less material.

Power Cushion+ The AERUS Z features a specially shaped wedge of POWER CUSHION+ in the heel designed specifically to absorb shock associated with the footwork of badminton. By improving shock absorption, our POWER CUSHION+ technology transforms impact into energy. A 28%* increase in shock absorption and a 62%** increase in repulsion when compared to the standard EVA materials.
Synchro-Fit Insole YONEX Synchro-Fit Insole construction creates a secure contact between foot and shoe, reducing energy wastage through an improved fit.
Compared with conventional badminton shoes, the mid to heel section on the insole is elevated to provide an improved fit between foot and shoe.
By holding the heel firmly against the insole, the gap between foot and shoe is reduced, improving comfort and performance, ensuring the foot has maximum grip inside the shoe.
Radial Blade Sole The grip pattern of the sole has been redesigned creating the RADIAL BLADE SOLE. By finely arranging a windmill shape that combines areas with large and small indentations, the weight of the shoe is dispersed, and the grip is improved by approximately 3%*. Resulting in a grip that supports quick dashes and sudden stops. *Tested by Yonex
3D Power Graphite Sheet The sole of the AERUS Z is built with Power Graphite Sheet, a carbon sheet that prevents twisting of the foot and improves stability during the most strenuous of movements. Working together with POWER CUSHION +, the absorbed impact power is converted into a propulsive force to help propel you into your next step.
Round Sole Max Energy The YONEX Round Sole is designed to provide all-around support for quick and smooth footwork. The Round Sole ensures smooth movements and transfer of maximum energy.

7. A Transaction Authorized Code (TAC) will be sent to you via SMS to authorize the redemption transaction.
8. Key in the TAC Number and click Confirm.
9. Please allow a few seconds for the redemption transaction to be processed.
10. Upon successful redemption, logout and close the Maybank2U page.
11. The order is now completed and you may print a copy of the receipt as record of the redemption made and to track the delivery of the items redeemed.
12. You will also receive an Order Confirmation via email.
