Use and Care
- The Hob cannot be used above a dishwasher or a tumble-dryer: steam may damage the electronics of the appliance.
- Do not place the Hob on top of a carpet, cloth or paper materials, when the machine is working. This will help prevent fires.
- Do not place the product on a flammable surface. This machine is for indoor use, it has not been designed for outdoor use.
- In general do not place any metallic objects except adequate pots and pans on the glass surface. In case of untimely engaging or residual heat, these may heat, melt or even burn.
- In case the Hob is not in use for a long period of time: first, switch on the machine and allow 10 minutes for the electronic component to stabilize. Second, after 10 minutes of warm-up, start to operate.
- Switch off the main power before pulling the plug out.
- Never place any hot container over the control panel.
- Be sure that pots and pans are always centered on the cooking zone.
