Let's make Malaysia awesome for women and kids! Imagine a place where everyone is treated equally and girls can grow up safe and sound. We want a country where women can do anything they dream of without facing violence. Let's protect their rights and cheer for their success in every part of life. Together, we can make Malaysia a better country for women and children.

Campaign Description/Rational of the campaign
The campaign aims to provide vital support to domestic violence survivors and B40 communities. The target is to fund for the essential needs of the shelter such as, shelter maintenance, medical aid, and counseling programme, empowering survivors to rebuild their lives.
Since 1983, the Women's Aid Organisation (WAO) in Malaysia has been a lifeline for women and children facing domestic violence. WAO provides a safe space, crisis social work, and psychosocial support to survivors. The refuge, accommodating up to 25 residents at a time, prioritises the safety, healing, and reintegration of survivors, many of whom arrive with their children, seeking refuge from life-threatening situations.
WAO's commitment extends beyond shelter, as survivors undergo a transformative journey towards independence, receiving psychosocial support from qualified counsellors and therapists. Recognising the impact on children who witness or experience violence, WAO addresses their needs through enrichment activities at the WAO Child Care Centre, including tuition, music classes, play therapy, and individual sessions.
