Risk & Challenges
Chronic Kidney Disease or End Stage Renal Failure is devastating, both psychologically and financially. Patients who are still below the age of 50 years with young families to support find themselves at a loss on how to get on with their lives with high dialysis fees to pay, on top of seeing to their family’s vital needs. Many others are elderly without jobs, pensions or savings. Therefore, many of our patients are unemployed and their children’s education is often neglected.
Campaign Description/Rational of the campaign
Recognising the financial strain kidney disease places on families, especially those with young children, this initiative seeks to alleviate the burden and ensure access to education for these vulnerable individuals.
Many of our patients are unemployed and their children’s education is often neglected. As such, donors can help the children of NKF patients by providing funds for their school expenses.
