Funds’ Utilisation Plan
The campaign is focusing on helping the NGOs in benefiting the community especially B40 families, humanitarian and children. Contributions made through this campaign will be distributed equally to two participating NGOs.
The two participating NGOs are;
Yayasan Sejahtera Darul Insyirah Funds utilisation plan;
1. Yayasan Sejahtera (YS)
- YS plans to distribute business assistance totaling RM 50,000 to 20 beneficiaries from the B40 community, specifically targeting women. Each beneficiary will receive a maximum of RM 2,500 to improve or start their own business. on top of that, YS has provided basic entrepreneurship training to these communities to equip them with skills in bookkeeping, marketing, and entrepreneurship. The aim is for beneficiaries to feel empowered and better understand their businesses.
2. Darul Insyirah
- Darul Insyirah plans to organise iftar (breaking of fast) sessions for 50 elderly individuals, costing RM16 per person. They aim to provide iftar for 30 days, totaling RM24,000 for the entire month of Ramadhan. The initiative aims to provide essential support and companionship to elderly individuals during the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals and fostering a sense of community and care.
Risk & Challenges
Risk: For many NGOs and organizations, the risk of insufficient funds would cause a chain reaction towards all affiliated communities that are currently assisted. This poses a great threat towards the welfare of these communities.
Challenge: Challenge is to continuously ensure that all communities are being monitored and assisted within the parameters of the law in place.

1. Yayasan Sejahtera
- Established on 7hb Ogos 2009, Yayasan Sejahtera is a Non- Government Organisation (NGO) working on poverty eradication and community development for poor and low-income households in Malaysia. Our mission and vision are to alleviate poverty through a community -based approach. Our mission at Yayasan Sejahtera is driven by determination and purpose as we collaborate and partner effectively as a backbone organisation, driving targeted actions within marginalised communities, especially the B40 segment. We are here to uplift individuals towards economic independence by crafting pathways through programmes that generate income and building their capacity and resilience through community leadership and educational programmes.
2. Darul Insyirah
- Darul Insyirah is an NGO dedicated to caring for and educating elderly Muslims. Founded in 2013, it has ten years of experience in providing daily care services tailored to the needs of senior citizens. The organisation aims to set high standards for care and education facilities for elderly Muslims across the country. Their mission involves safeguarding the faith of elderly Muslims in their final years through education and fostering Islamic principles. Darul Insyirah is committed to preserving the faith, ensuring a dignified end of life, and providing compassionate care and knowledge to its beneficiaries.
