Instructions for installing Imou camera

First you need to download and install the Imou Life application in Google Play and App Store. (If you have already installed the application please update to the latest version)

After downloading, we will install the camera into the application according to the following steps.

Step 1: Run the Imou Life: application then register an account for the first use. You can create an Imou Life account using Email or mobile phone number ( Note that the mobile phone number may or may not contain the first 0 ).

Step 2: Power on your device and wait until the camera indicator flashes green.

Attention: If the camera does not flash green, please press the reset button for 10 seconds to reset the camera, then start again.

Step 3: Scan the QR code in the device label with the App, then start network configuration for the camera
Step 4: Your phone will automatically connect to the camera's soft AP Wi-Fi signal. Note: If your phone cannot automatically connect to the signal for some reason, please go to your phone's Wi-Fi connection page, connect your phone to the displayed Wi-Fi signal. displayed on the application page, then return to the Imou Life page. The Wi-Fi password is a secure code on the device label.
Step 5: Select the router's Wi-Fi signal to connect your camera to and enter the Wi-Fi password.

Step 6: Your device will connect to your Wi-Fi signal, then connect to the Imou cloud and link to your Imou account automatically.

Note: When connecting the device, the status indicator light will flash red, after successful connection, the status indicator light will remain green.

IMOU camera is a camera line from Dahua camera company - a Chinese brand specializing in manufacturing wifi cameras. Appearing in Vietnam since early 2019, IMOU cameras were quickly welcomed and highly appreciated by many consumers for both design and quality.

Dahua - IMOU camera manufacturer, was founded in 2001 and is the first Chinese research and development company. By 2014 Dahua had 14 research institutes covering fields such as AI, IOT, CHIP, Video Security, Cloud Cloud and advanced technology.

The predecessor of IMOU camera before changing its name was Lechange. With IMOU, Dahua wants to create a camera line with a more unique and unique identity, supporting a variety of hardware products such as wireless doorbells, alarm sensors, wifi cameras.

      1. Input preferred number of points at “Points to Redeem”, balance amount to pay will be auto calculated and display at “Balance to Pay”.
      2. At “Pay from”, select preferred card to pay for the balance amount.
      3. Click “Continue” to proceed check out
   3. Full Payment with Card [*Not applicable for Air Miles redemption]
      1. At “Pay from”, select preferred Card to pay for full amount.
      2. Click “Continue” to proceed check out
   4. EzyPay Instalment with Credit Card (Note: For minimum charge to card amount of RM500, not applicable to Charge or Debit cards) [*Not applicable for Air Miles redemption]
      1. Select preferred Card at “Pay from”,
      2. “Tick” on Apply Maybank EzyPay (Note: this option will automatically available with minimum RM500 at “Balance to Pay”
      3. Select Tenure of instalment
      4. Click “Continue” to proceed check out
6. Upon selecting “Continue”, delivery address will be auto-populated as per Maybank2U Credit/Debit card billing address. Please ensure delivery address information is in order, including contact number and email address. You may edit delivery address if require to deliver to alternative address.
7. A Transaction Authorized Code (TAC) will be sent to you via SMS to authorize the redemption transaction.
8. Key in the TAC Number and click Confirm.
9. Please allow a few seconds for the redemption transaction to be processed.
10. Upon successful redemption, logout and close the Maybank2U page.
11. The order is now completed and you may print a copy of the receipt as record of the redemption made and to track the delivery of the items redeemed.
12. You will also receive an Order Confirmation via email.
