Features :
- Permanently currentless light source, emergency and orientation lighting
- Quality made in Germany since 1893
- 20 hours of light with just one tank filling
- Resistant material & temperature-resistant glass
- Environmentally friendly packaging
- Made of galvanized steel for durability.
- Resistant to rust and weather, making it suitable for outdoor use.
- Uses paraffin/kerosene oil (Provides up to 20 hours of light on a full tank)
Cautious :
- Use high-quality paraffin/kerosene oil specifically designed for lanterns. Avoid using low-grade or colored fuel, as it may cause soot and clog the wick.
- Fill the fuel tank only up to 80-90% full to allow for expansion and avoid spillage. Use a funnel for precise and mess-free refueling.
- Before lighting, make sure the wick extends slightly above the burner. Use the side wheel to adjust the wick height for a proper flame—too high can cause smoke; too low might result in insufficient light.
- Open the globe lift lever and light the wick using a match or lighter. Close the globe gently to avoid breaking the glass.
- Adjust the wick so the flame burns steadily and doesn’t flicker excessively.
- Place the lantern on a stable, flat surface. Avoid placing it near flammable materials or in high-wind areas without proper precautions.
- Always use the lantern in a well-ventilated area to avoid fumes building up.
- If soot builds up, wait for the lantern to cool and clean the glass with a soft cloth or mild soap.
- Turn the wick wheel to lower the wick completely into the burner to extinguish the flame.
- If storing the lantern for an extended period, empty the fuel tank to prevent leakage or evaporation.
- Trim the wick occasionally to remove burnt ends, ensuring a clean and bright flame during future use.
General Maintenance Tips :
- Store the lantern in a dry and cool place to avoid rust.
- Check all parts periodically, including the wick, fuel tank, and burner, for any damage or wear.
- Replace the wick and globe as needed to maintain efficiency.
