Malt Barley

One of the main ingredients in MILO® is Malt Barley

Malt barley seeds store energy in the form of complex carbohydrates, sugars and maltose. These carbohydrates help provide active kids with the nourishing energy they need. Plus, it gives MILO® its unique and delicious taste.

Milk Powder

Milk powder provides your kids with essential protein, vitamins and minerals.

The milk powder we use in MILO® comes from fresh dairy milk-we simply remove the water to make it powder. Milk powder contains essential protein, vitamins and minerals. It also contributes to the creamy flavour and texture of MILO®.

Sugar

There are three main types of sugar in regular MILO®-lactose, maltose and sucrose

We use cane sugar in regular MILO®, this contributes to MILO®’s unique taste and crunchy texture. There are three main types of sugar in MILO®-lactose, found naturally in milk powder; maltose, found in malt barley; and sucrose, found in cane sugar. When added to milk, MILO® is a low GI drink that gives kids energy to run, play and think.
